About Me.

I am a Cardio-Thoracic & Vascular Surgeon, who has trained not only in premier Indian institutes, but also abroad at the prestigious Northern General Hospital, Sheffield, United Kingdom. As such I have gained a wide exposure to the latest surgical techniques including practice of minimal access surgery. I bring to my patients the latest in Cardiothoracic and Vascular Surgery and treat them at par with international standards.

At present, I am Consulting at Desun Hospital & Heart Institute, Kolkata and visiting Consultant at Utkal Hospital, Bhubaneswar. I have rich experience in Coronary Bypass surgeries, Valve Repairs and Replacements (open and key hole/minimal access), major Aortic surgeries, Lung cancer and chest cavity surgeries (open and key hole/minimal access), and Vascular surgery.

My alma maters include reputed National Institutes as VMMC and Safdarjung Hospital & PGIMER and RML Hospital, New Delhi. I have worked at Hi- Tech Medical College & Hospital and Utkal Hospital, Bhubaneswar and at the very reputed and advanced Northern General Hospital at Sheffield, United Kingdom. I am FRCS in Cardio-thoracic surgery from England and have done my fellowship in England.
